Our members and their ambassador dogs host casual meet and greets for prospective owners and anyone exploring the possibility of adding a Shikoku to their family.

What to Expect

A meet and greet is a casual, no-pressure opportunity to spend time with a Shikoku and chat with experienced owners. Whether you're seriously considering the breed or just want to meet one in person, we're happy to share our experiences.

Our ambassador dogs are well-socialized Shikoku who enjoy meeting new people. You'll have a chance to see what the breed is really like—their energy, temperament, and personality—beyond what you can learn from photos and videos.

Interested in meeting a Shikoku? Reach out to us and we'll coordinate a time and location that works for you and one of our ambassador dog hosts. We typically meet at parks or dog-friendly cafes in the San Francisco Bay Area.
