How to Join
Membership requires sponsorship from two current members in good standing.
Getting Started
The best way to meet current members is to attend our events. Our pack walks are open to everyone and are a great opportunity to connect with the community and learn more about the club.
Once you've gotten to know us and found two members willing to sponsor you, they can submit your membership application on your behalf.

Do I need a Shikoku to join?
No! Our pack walks are open to the community and are a great way to meet a Shikoku in person and connect with other enthusiasts.
Can I meet a Shikoku before deciding if the breed is right for me?
Yes! We offer meet and greets for prospective owners. Our members and their ambassador dogs are happy to meet up at a park or cafe in the Bay Area so you can spend time with a Shikoku in person.
How can I meet members to sponsor me?
Follow our Instagram! Many of our members are great social media ambassadors of the breed. Learn about their dogs and reach out to get to know them too.
When's the best time to join? I'm about to get a puppy or considering.
Join beforehand! Training starts before you bring the puppy home, and getting to know your community will set you up for success when you do.
Where can I get a puppy?
Check out our breeder page. Joining walks and meeting a Shikoku in person can also be a great chance to discuss what you want in a dog, and we can refer you to the ideal breeders for you.
